I'm still in the process of making more goodies for my students. I have a few December birthday's in my classroom, so I decided to make each student a treat box to go along with a pencil and free homework pass. I'm thinking the birthday kiddos will like them ;)

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I started thinking about what I would use to decorate my table. I saw these napkin rings in the Silhouette store and wanted to given them a try. We didn't have cloth napkins... so I'm using towels in this photo. Straight up ghetto... right??? LOL! Oh well, you get the point ;)

I made this card and treat bucket for my daughter's teacher. The inside of the card said, 

"Wishing you a SWEET year filled 

with little SHARPIES who 

STICK to their learning goals!"  

I can't believe Maylena's going into kindergarten already!

I got the super cute sign she's holding from Yellow Bliss Road. Kristin created super cute chalkboard signs for each grade level for the first and last day of school. She even let's you create your own chalkboard sign. You can download them all for free! 

On a side note, since it's back to school time, I'd like to remind all you mommies and teachers out there about using tea tree oil to prevent head lice. You can buy speciality shampoos with tea tree oil or add some to your existing shampoo. Since both of my girls and I have such long beautiful hair... head lice is a huge fear of mine. So if there is something I can do to help prevent it, I'll do it! I like to use Original Sprout products.

I want to dedicate this card to my girly Sandra Rosario from 365 Days of Cricut. Sandra has been on one amazing journey as she's lost 69 pounds in the last 5 months while her hubby was deployed. She's gone from a size 20 to being a few inches away from a size 2 with lots of hard work, sweat, and healthy eating. She's been a huge encouragement to lots of friends on Facebook. And I thought I'd send a little cheer to my girl. Even the greatest cheerleader needs a little cheer thrown her way ;)

I've been living healthier for nearly a year. I've lost over 40 pounds and several dress sizes. I'm not yet at my fitness goal, but I'm having a blast getting there. For those of you who battle the bulge... stay strong. STONG IS THE NEW SKINNY!!!
