Framed

Oct 26, 2010

Here is a super quick project. I think I was able to get it done in less than 20 minutes. At Made By Momo, the challenge is to make anything but a card. So I decided to make this little frame for my little princess.

Wooden frame from Michaels (2 for $1)
Sweet Treats
Ribbon from Walmart

P.S. Did you check out my side bar? ------------------------------->
The Stamping Boutique is giving out some amazing blog candy. Over $250 worth of goodies. Including a 36 pack of Copic Markers. Tell them teachu14 sent you :) I really want those markers ;)

Think Pink

Oct 25, 2010

My prayers go out to all the lives that have been affected by cancer. This one's for you ladies...

Made for My Pink Stamper's Think Pink Week.

I love this digital image but I just removed the link where I got it from. Lelia from Green Goddess Creations discovered that Sassy has copied this image from another artist (click here to see the copied image that was copyrighted in 2004).

Fall Pumpkin

I'm entering this one into More Than Favor's Wacky Wednesday Challenge. The challenge is a fruit and veggie theme.

Cute & Simple

Oct 12, 2010

This cute and simple card was made for My Pink Stamper's Count down to Karlee, day 2 challenge. You just had to make something cute.

Used:
New Arrival
Sentiment: Scrappy Mom's

Creepy Crawly

Wow! I've had this project on my "to do" list for about a week now. It's for Crafting with Cristina's Companion Challenge #8, Spooktacular Colors. Her companion for this challenge is Ivette from All About Me & My Scrapbook. The challenge is to  create a Halloween themed project WITHOUT using orange & black. You can use one or the other, but NOT both.

I've also entered this project into My Pink Stamper's challenge. She said to make a Halloween or Fall project.

I used:
Mini Monsters - for the spiders
Martha Stewart's Spider Web Punch
Sentiment: Scrappy Moms

*Sweet Blogger Award*
First off, I would once again like to thank Celeste from C.C.'s Cards and Crafts for sending me the Sweet Blogger Award. She's so inspirational and super sweet. The five people I choose for the Sweet Blog Award are wonderfully talented women ranging from new to experienced bloggers. Please take a few moments and visit their blogs if you haven't done so already:)

Who stole my nuts?

Oct 9, 2010

Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge is to create a shpae card using the color orange. I'm also entering this card into 4 Crafty Chicks challenge #6. You are to use "distressing" which is pretty much however you take it. I used distressing around each of the sentiments, the inside of the tree, and around all of the nuts.

I used create a critter and the sentiment was made on the computer.

The Martha Stewart coupon has been extended until 10-30-10. I have put the coupon on my side bar.

Autumn Inspired Wedding Box

Oct 8, 2010

I made this Autumn Wedding Box for my friend Liz. She asked me if I could make a box for her sister's wedding to hold cards from guests. The bride requested a burnt orange box with off-white/ivory ribbon and deep red flowers. When I tried the deep red flowers, it looked a little weird so I went with ivory flowers to match the larger ribbon. The flowers look lighter in the picture but they are an exact color match (I have horrible lighting in my living room :)

I'm thinking I did pretty well for my first wedding box. And I want to thank Liz and Janet for the challenge.

I Want Candy!

Oct 7, 2010

Okay... how cute is this chick? It's a super simple card but I just love how this little chick came out.

I'm entering this card in two challenges.  At More than Favors, the Wacky Wednesday Challenge is to make something with an animal in it. And at Jitterbuggin' the challenge is to follow the sketch with a gate fold card, put a trick or treater on the card using two different cartridges, and add a star somewhere on your card.

I used:
Paper Doll Dress Up for the witch costume
Create a Critter for the chick
Peachy Keen PK-754 Critter Face Set A Medium

Sentiment: Scrappy Mom's, A Haunting We Will Go

  • Make it PINK... Please use pink as your main color, other colors are o.k. too.
  • Post this challenge on Facebook to spread the word!
  • Email your photo of your card to TheScrapbookingQueen1@gmail.com
