I'm self-proclaiming myself the Queen of Procrastination! 

My friend asked me to make thank you card for his sister's baby shower over 2 months ago. And I of course waited until the very last minute to make 40 thank you cards. I think I would have been okay had I made the thank you cards with a simple design... but I decided to pick a pattern with a bunch of piecings and waaaaay to much stitching. 

But I did it! And I've got a few hours to spare before the baby shower =)

Mason's Benefit Blog Hop

Welcome to 

Mason's Benefit Blog Hop!

I'm so glad you are reading this. Mason is a sweet 3 year old boy who has endured a lot of medical problems from such a young age. THIS is THE LINK where you can read about young Mason's life. The challenge

Create an Encouragement Card with the outside being for Mason and the inside for his parents that will be mailed to the family. What's nice about THIS blog hop is that YOU, the reader, get to participate in this challenge as well! 

It's a win-win situation, if you think about it. Mason and his family are going to receive a lot of wonderful cards, and you get to submit entries to win some nice blog candy along the way!

The link for your Encouragement Card submissions will be active from Sunday, February 19th at  5 AM Pacific Time Zone, through Thursday, February 23rd midnight, Pacific Time Zone. The Winners will be announced on Monica's Blog after the 23rd.  

To enter more than once, there are a few things to do:

1. A. Create your card for Mason, and please include a note to his parents to let them know you are thinking of them.

B. Create a post showcasing your card creation donation on your own blog then link your blog post's website to Monica's website: http://www.monicascreativemadness.com

C. MAIL your encouragement card to Mason and his family.

Bad Guy Birthday

Rapunzel... Rapunzel... let down your hair girl!

A-maze-ing

I just got my new Silhouette Cameo in the mail on Thursday. I had company over so I wasn't able to play with it right away... but I stayed up all night making up for it. I made a thank you card for a friend just to learn some of the functions then I made this super cute lay out. 

 The patterns came from Little Scraps of Heaven using Pumpkin Patch Fun.

 I'm usually the photographer... so I'm not in any of the pics :(

But I've gotta say... I LOVE this machine. It's a-maze-ing!

It cuts so easily none of my pieces (not even the tiny ones) were cut out wrong. 

I'm super happy with my purchase and recommend the Cameo to everyone!
