You are Fairy Loved

Feb 12, 2012

My girls love playing with ribbon and pretending they're fairies. I made this digital layout using Scraptastical Kreations - Fairy Loved file. I love that all SK files come in so many different formats. I can use files for paper piecings or use them in PNG format for a digital layout =)

Cameo Princess...

Dec 31, 2011

I love playing with all the features on my Cameo.

I just created this super quick card using a digi image. I checked out Simply Cricuting's tutorial on How to use your Silhouette Cameo and Digis. The only difference is that I released the compound and colored in each piece of the digi before I printed it.

This is what it looks like on the Silhouette Screen after filling in each piece.

I can't believe I was able to color, print, and have it all cut out in less than 10 minutes. This feature will make it so easy to mass produce cards for invites =)

Candy Goes Here...

Oct 21, 2011

I saved my Crystal Light containers to use for this project.

It's Design Team Day over at Inking It Up Crazy. We were asked to make Halloween Treat holders. Mine are currently empty... since the candy I bought to go in them suddenly disappeared (crazy how that always happens). I got these cute image from The Greeting Farm

And YES!!! I used my awesome $2 Crayola Colored Pencils to color in the images.
I plan on upgrading to some Prisma Colors next month =D

Lil Cupcake (wiper card)

Jul 13, 2011

I made this card for my niece's birthday. I wanted to try something new and found Erika's wiper card tutorial at Cricut Love. Check it out and try one of your own. It's super easy :)

I've gained what???

Apr 9, 2011

I'm super excited to be a guest designer over at My Sheri Crafts this week. The challenge is to use buttons. I've used 12 buttons by layering most of them.

This is an easel card and the image is is called Tubby Tub from Squigglefly. Once again, I colored with my daughters Crayola colored pencils. (About time I get some mommy colored pencils... LOL)
Paper: DCWV, The Linen Closet
Sentiment: Computer generated

I'm also entering this card in the following challenges:
More Than Favors, Wacky Wednesday Challenge #33 - birthday theme
My Pink Stamper, Anything birthday!!!

*** On a personal note... My LASIK was a complete success!!! I'm now seeing 20/15 (which is better than 20/20)!!! The surgery didn't hurt at all and it was done in less than a few minutes per eye. It was so great to wake up this morning and not have to reach for my glasses just to see the alarm clock ;) I used to hate to wear my glasses in public but here's a final mug shot of me in glasses.

I donated my old glasses to the Lion's Club. They give them to needy families and have even supplied some of my students with some gently used glasses . WOO HOO!!! NO MORE GLASSES!!!

*** Oh... I made a blog button. Someone please tell me if it works. Thanks!

That stinks!

This card is dedicated to everyone who has ever been laid off. My heart goes out to all you teachers that just got your lay off notice. I've been teaching for 9 years and I've gotten a layoff notice every year for the last 4 years.

The image is from Dude Time Doodles. I wish I had some Copic markers to color this in right. But I had to settle for using my daughter's Crayola color pencils :) I was also able to use scraps from a previous project. Check out Dino... Fetch from a few posts back.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

Creative Time For Me, Thursday Throwback Challenge. It's a Cricut less challenge using a sketch.
More Than Favors, Wacky Wednesday Challenge #32 - Something Funny
Cooking With Cricut, Funny quote, saying, or pun
Card Cupid, Create a funny card
Scraps 4 Fun, Use your scraps

Think Pink

Oct 25, 2010

My prayers go out to all the lives that have been affected by cancer. This one's for you ladies...

Made for My Pink Stamper's Think Pink Week.

I love this digital image but I just removed the link where I got it from. Lelia from Green Goddess Creations discovered that Sassy has copied this image from another artist (click here to see the copied image that was copyrighted in 2004).
