Swingin' By...

Mar 31, 2011

My 3 year old loves going to the park and playing on the swing. I dedicate this spring inspired card to my baby girl Maylena.  Moma loves you!!! Let's go to the park :)

My first attempt at a side step card... not to shabby. LOL.

I'm entering it into a few challenges bellow:

I'm entering this card in two challenges.

The first challenge is M.A.G. Challenge by the Page #19. The challenge is to use Create-a-Critter pg. 50 images only to create a project!

The second challenge is Card Creations and More by C, Saturday challenge #6. The challenge is to use patterned ribbon.

U-G-L-Y... you ain't got no alibi... you're UGLY...

I made this card for Queen of my Craftroom's challenge #6, the UGLY paper challenge.

Let me begin by saying that I don't mean to offend anyone... but I HATE this paper. Mostly because it reminds me of the hideous wallpaper that covered our master bathroom when we first moved into our house. That wall paper made me feel dizzy and I was convinced that my pregnancy morning sickness was prompted by the sight of that paper. Trust me... if I still had some of that wallpaper it would be on this card.

Celebrate Aspirin!

Mar 17, 2011

WELCOME TO MY WORLD!!! HAHAHA!

I made this card for Scrapbookaholic Abby's first challenge. The challenge is to "pick your own holiday" for the month of March. So... as a mother of two little girls... I'm celebrating Aspirin! On March 6, 1899, Felix Hoffmann patented Aspirin. Way to go Felix! Mothers all over the world love ya!

Need A Vacation?

I made this card for the Two Scraptastic Girls Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge #9. The challenge is to use the Cricut cartridge, Life's a Beach. Lord knows I need to get away and I'm counting down the days till our vacation.

The flower came from Tinkerbell and Friends.
Sentiment was computer generated.

This card was made for our Vice Principal Mrs. Good.
It is also 6 x 10 so the entire staff could sign it.
The butterfly came from Once Upon A Princess

March 2nd was Read Across America Day. Our school was blessed to have several community volunteers come and read to our students. I made 34 thank you cards for many of the volunteers. I can't believe I was able to get them all done in 1 night with my two baby girls crawling all over me :) It was wonderful for our students to see such positive community role models. Sorry for the poor quality pics. I had to use my cell phone to take the pictures.

Paper Dolls for Everyday
