Altered Projects
Aug 16, 2011
Between our friends and family, I'm always surrounded by little ones. Everyone seems to love having custom baby wipe cases. Here are a few cases that I put together today. You can see my previously made baby wipe cases here .

I love... LA!
I've had a bit of promotion towards our households favorite sports teams lately. You can check out my Raider project here.
I don't have a way to cut out SVG's (only have a Cricut), so I made my own baseball gift bag with the baseball image from Boys Will Be Boys and my gypsy. I welded together two baseball shapes and a series of rectangles until I got it to look like a gift box. Once I cut it out, I just had to score along the edges and form it together. I think I'll start using this technique with several other shapes... especially with the holidays right around the corner ;)

Prince Charming???
Aug 12, 2011
Still looking for your prince? Have you tried kissing a few frogs?
I have two little girls and I think we've watched the Princess and the Frog about a million times. I love that opening scene when the little girls pretend the cat is a frog. Super cute!
I used Peachy Keen's everyday character face assortment for the eyes and mouth. But I had to spread out the parts. So I taped over the parts I was not using, inked up the stamp, and removed the tape before I stamped.

Go Team!
Aug 10, 2011
You have no idea how happy my hubby was when he found out that football season was back. He's been scrambling like crazy to set up a Fantasy Football Team and have all the guys over to make their picks. So I made him a notebook and matching pen to keep track of all his notes. He loved it so much that text pictures to a bunch of his friends. Now I have to make at least a dozen more for his buddies :) Hope I can find enough paper!
Since this one is plain and manly... I could easily see this notebook being perfect for a Jr. high/ high school/ college student. So I'm entering it into a few back to school challenges.

Encouragement
Aug 8, 2011
This coming weekend is one of our church's local crusade known as the Harvest Crusade.
In 1990, Pastor Greg Laurie began holding large-scale public evangelistic events through Harvest Ministries. Since then, more 4,240,000 people have attended Harvest events around the United States, Australia and New Zealand. More importantly, more than 353,300 people have made registered professions of faith through these outreaches.
We are very excited to be apart of this ministry and reach out to others. We have decided to become Start Friends at Harvest. A start friend commits to taking a new believer further down the road into their faith.
When I became a new believer, I didn't have ANY christian friends. My friends were into partying all the time and it would have been really easy for me to slide back into that lifestyle. But then I met my good friend Michelle. She was incredibly supportive and helped to guide me through my walk. I would like to be that friend for someone else.
I know that whom ever the lord would like me to befriend is going to have some days that are filled with difficulties. So I've created this encouragement box that I'll fill with uplifting hand made cards. Although the cards will be dedicated to someone else, I'm dedicating this box to myself. I'll leave it on my desk as a daily reminder to encourage others in the name of the lord.

Soar to Success!

I've made my first water bottle holder for my little one's first day of school. You simply throw a Crystal Light in the pouch and place it in the lunch box with an inspiring note. I think children of all ages would love this little gift in their lunch or back pack when they head out to school. It would also be a great teacher gift!
I used my Creative Memories circle pattern to create the holes for the top of the water bottle. You can visit my beautiful friend Georgi to purchase Creative Memories supplies at mycmsite.com/sites/georgifelix1

I think I bought this cartridge over a year ago and only used it once. I used some random Peachy Keen face parts from different sets and Martha Stewart glitter for my snowman. My choice of material is ribbon.

Shake out the Sprinkles!
Jul 28, 2011
Hello all! I made my first shaker card. I've had this card on my mind since Saturday, but I needed something transparent so you could see the sprinkles. As I was cleaning out some of my teaching supplies, I found a whole box of transparent sheets used for the old school overhead projectors. It worked fabulous! My niece is having her 4th birthday this weekend and I wanted to make a different kind of card for her. And what's a cupcake without real sprinkles? Thanks for the awesome idea Erika ;)
I'm entering this card into Erika's Shake You Card Challenge over at Crafty Sprouts.
baby shower decor
Jul 26, 2011
This weekend we celebrated my in-law's baby shower. I made several creations but only took pictures of a few. These are the baby shower favors I made. They are simple 6x6 sheets of paper that were scored at 1/2 and 3 1/4. I made about 50 of them minus a few that my hubby and girls ate before the party. They were a big hit with the guests and great gifts for almost any occasion. I can see making them for students and co-workers during the holidays as well.
I'm entering the party favors into More than Favors, Cricutless challenge
I also created this huge banner with my Imagine using Country Carnival. Each letter measures at 6 inches and it spanned the whole room.
I'm entering this entire post into My Sheri Crafts, Party decor challenge
P.S. I'm considering making a video on how to do the party favors above. If you would like to see a video on how to make the chocolate favors above just leave me a message :)

Digital Invite
Jul 3, 2011
Here's my first digital invite that I created using SBC studio by Creative Memories. With two baby girls and an endless supply of pictures... I've transferred to using digital scrapbooking over traditional scrapbooking just so I could keep up. I'm also having fun creating other projects with my digital scrapbooking materials... like this fun baby shower invitation. My brother in-law requested his 4 favorite teams to be reflected on the invite. I've blocked the address along the bottom, but I wanted to show you how cool digital scrapbooking can be. If you're interested, you can check it out at my friend Georgi's website with Creative Memories. Just tell her Ana Maria sent ya ;)
